Achtung! Open now is the new OCMC show "Warhol Is Mine" at L'Asso in Soho, NYC. L'Asso is located at 192 Mott Street (corner of Kenmare) and also has some of the best brick oven pizza in town... The show runs thru the end of May.

 

 

 

 

First of all, congratulations to the winners of the very first Facebook Valentine's Day print giveaway. The 14 signed/numbered prints will be shipping in about two weeks. We will be having another giveaway in a few months and that one will be a canvas. "Like" the OCMC Facebook Page to be entered.

 

Valentine's Day was also the very first day of the very first public exhibit of OCMC work... Inside anyway. There are 21 OCMC pieces on display at 209 East 23rd Street until March 3rd, 2012.

 

OCMC is very musically oriented, and most pieces are conceived and created listening to music. Should you wish to experience the show the way it was hung and meant to be experenced, listen to the track "She Reminds Me Of You" from the soundtrack to "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross.

   There also is word that there will be an OCMC art display in a "secret" area of the city on February 13th that will run for several weeks... More on that soon...

   Due to a number of requests for an OCMC iPhone case on Facebook, we decided to set up on OCMC oniline shop. You can currently choose from several artwork designs and all are signed by the artist on the inside of the case in signature OCMC silver...

 

   We hope at some point soon to be able to off original artwork from time to time as well as prints...

   It is always quite flattering when I see that someone was moved to have taken the time to stop and photograph an OCMC. It is even lovelier when they write an email and send in the photo. There were three this week and all are quite loved...

It was a great night in the studio last night. Lately a lot of work is going to canvas and there is a series of triptychs coming that I am pretty excited about... More to come.  

   A lot of the new news pieces are coming. All are originally on canvas/resin but you may see some popping up... Have had a number of requests for several prints for them so we are looking into doing some small numbered runs, on canvas.
